Oneida County Dept. on Aging
Bus service with wheelchair lift for older adults and persons with disabilities in Rhinelander.  Mondays-Fridays for a fee per ride.  Grocery shopping rides available on Wednesday and Friday mornings.  Rides are free to Trig’s and Wal-Mart, and are available to other locations for a fee.  Call for reservations one day in advance.

Transportation by volunteer drivers in their vehicle for older adults and persons with disabilities.  Fare is based on distance traveled (out of county travel possible).  Call for qualifications or to make reservations 48 hours in advance.

Public Transit servicing the communities of Rhinelander, Eagle River and Minocqua/Woodruff area buses and vans, some lift equipment for ease of boarding , serving some areas of Oneida & Vilas Counties. Oneida County Department of Social Services

Transportation assistance for medical appointments is available for those persons on Wisconsin Medical Assistance who are transported either in a private vehicle or by specialized medical vehicle (SMV).  Medical Transportation Mangement, Inc. (aka MTM) administers the transportation program for the State of Wisconsin.  You should call  MTM at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to arrange your ride.   Please use MTM's toll-free telephone number, 1-866-907-1493, to arrange all your medical transportation.
